Blinking Exercise

About This Exercise
Blinking exercises help combat dry eyes by stimulating tear production and spreading moisture across your eyes. This is especially important for people who spend long hours looking at screens.

Ready to begin?

This quick exercise takes about 1 minute and helps restore natural moisture to your eyes.

Why Blinking Matters

When we focus on screens, our blink rate drops from about 15-20 times per minute to just 5-7 times per minute. This reduction leads to dry, irritated eyes.

  • • Spreads tears evenly across the eye surface
  • • Removes dust and debris from eyes
  • • Provides oxygen to the cornea
  • • Prevents dry eye symptoms
  • • Reduces eye strain and discomfort
Daily Practice

Practice this exercise 3-4 times throughout your day, especially after long periods of screen time. You can also make a conscious effort to blink more frequently while working.
